We are looking for a passionate, preferably experienced Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, handling a high volume of dishes in a timely fashion, and maintaining and providing clean and sanitary dishes for both staff and guests.
The dishwasher must work diligently to ensure excellent cleanliness of the dish area and consistently clean dishes.
There may be some food prep involved with this position occasionally.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Properly maintain and run the dish machine.
Proper use of all chemicals and where and how to use them.
Maintain the proper kitchen cleanliness, coolers, freezer, cafeteria storerooms, and all walls and floors.
Ensure that all food and chemicals are stored properly when orders arrive.
Ensure the line and restaurant have the service ware needed for the day (i.e., proper flatware serving utensils, plates, and cups).
Always be busy
Sweep and mop floors when needed.
Remove garbage when needed.
Maintain a good working relationship with all Pica Rica staff, management, and guest.
Store all items properly at the end of the shift, labeling and dating all products pulled from the cafeteria (tumbleweed).
Ensure a clean, neat, and organized work area.
Ensure appropriate communication with all staff and guests at all times
Professionally conduct oneself at all times.
Clean and organize all coolers before the shift is over.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.
